• Reflection of Domain 2:
My development: Over the course of my journey through my Nevada State College course work I have run into the concept of classroom management all over not only in the actual teachers management but of how we apply the skills were learning to work around are classroom management philosophy’s. Over that I felt like grasping the basics for a successful classroom was easy I knew there had to be structure. There had to be rules and consequences to make students accountable for their behaviors they exhibited in the classroom. If behaviors became out of control conduct parent teacher conferences and come up with an individual behavior plan that would be best suited for the students to succeed at. Have such things in the classroom for individual rewards as well as whole group rewards but trying to focus on intrinsic motivation to show students they need to take pride in themselves as a student but as an individual among a group. I feel like my knowledge base in addressing behavior in the classroom is great and only can grow from this point but application of these said techniques was a challenge because during my student teaching I struggled with talking, student participation, constant goofing around. I feel that I am proficient in knowledge level but in application of my components I am basic until I can do some trial and error with different strategies and another thing every year it could change because students are all different.
